Présentation

Un siècle après la création des Archives des Maladies du Coeur et des Vaisseaux, la Société Française de Cardiologie a souhaité faire évoluer son organe d'expression, tant en ce qui concerne sa langue que ses objectifs.

Archives of Cardiovascular Diseases succède ainsi depuis le 1er janvier 2008 aux Archives des Maladies du Coeur et des Vaisseaux. En langue anglaise, Archives of Cardiovascular Diseases comprennent des éditoriaux scientifiques, des articles originaux, des revues générales de synthèse, les textes de recommandations de la Société Française de Cardiologie et des images illustrant la pathologie cardiovasculaire.

Archives of Cardiovascular Diseases is a monthly publication of the French Society of Cardiology edited by Elsevier. The Journal publishes original peer-reviewed clinical and research articles, epidemiological studies, new methodological clinical approaches, review articles, editorials and images in cardiovascular medicine. Topics covered include coronary artery and valve diseases, interventional and pediatric cardiology, cardiovascular surgery, cardiomyopathy and heart failure, arrhythmias and stimulation, cardiovascular imaging, vascular medicine and hypertension, epidemiology and risk factors, and large multicenter studies.

Archives of Cardiovascular Diseases also publishes the guidelines edited by the French Society of Cardiology.

Associated with Archives of Cardiovascular Diseases, Archives of Cardiovascular Diseases supplements (Lien) publishes abstracts of papers presented at the annual sessions of the Journées Européennes de la Société Française de Cardiologie, of the Printemps de la cardiologie and of other events.
